In short

This site doesn't have accounts and doesn't store anything you type. Your GPS location, if you share it, stays in your browser. Zip-code and address searches are sent to a third-party mapping service (OpenStreetMap) to convert them into coordinates. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic — how many people visit, roughly where from, and which listings get clicked — but this data is anonymized/aggregated and not used to identify you personally.

1. What we collect

FootRubsNearMe.com does not require you to create an account, and does not collect, store, or sell any personal information on our own servers. Specifically:

If you click "Use my current location," your device's GPS coordinates are used only inside your own browser to sort listings by distance. They are not sent to us or stored anywhere.
If you search by zip code or address, that text is sent to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim geocoding service to convert it into map coordinates. See Nominatim's own usage policy for how they handle that data — we don't receive or store your search terms ourselves.
"Call," "Directions," "Website," and "Reviews" links on each listing take you to third-party services (your phone's dialer, Google Maps, a studio's own site, or Yelp) that have their own privacy practices. We link out to Yelp so you can see independent reviews — we don't host or moderate reviews ourselves.
We use Google Analytics to measure site traffic and which listings visitors interact with (for example, clicking Call, Directions, Website, or Reviews on a specific studio). This helps us understand overall usage and report aggregate performance to featured advertisers — it does not identify you individually. Google Analytics may use cookies and similar technologies to do this; see Google's Privacy Policy for how Google handles this data.
Our Amazon Finds page contains Amazon affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases made through those links, and Amazon may use its own cookies to track that a purchase came from this site. We don't receive any personal or payment information about your Amazon purchase — see Amazon's Privacy Notice for details.

2. Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to distinguish visitors and measure site usage in aggregate. We don't use this data to identify individual visitors, and we don't sell or share it beyond what Google Analytics itself provides. If you'd prefer not to be measured, most browsers let you block third-party cookies or use tracking-prevention/ad-blocking extensions. If we add further tools (like a newsletter signup) in the future, this policy will be updated first to disclose what's collected and why.

3. Contact and inquiry links

"Contact," "Suggest a Location," and advertiser inquiry links on this site open your own email client (via mailto links). We only receive what you choose to send us by email, and only use it to respond to your message.

4. Third-party services we use

This site relies on a few third-party services to function: OpenStreetMap and Nominatim (search and geocoding), Leaflet with OpenStreetMap map tiles (the map page), Google Maps (directions links), and Google Analytics (aggregate traffic and listing-click measurement). Each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data sent to them.

5. Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

6. Your rights

If this site begins collecting personal information in the future (for example, through a newsletter or advertiser contact form), you will have the right to ask what information we have about you and to request that it be deleted, by emailing us at the address below.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site adds features. Material changes — like adding analytics or a newsletter — will be reflected here with an updated date.
